What's New and Improved with LifeShare

November is going to be a busy and exciting month for LifeShare. There are new incentives, products, and features coming this month. Every week there will be something new to share so stay tuned. I am so excited and here are some hints as to what will be coming soon!

Halloween Picture Greeting Cards Using LifeShare

Halloween is a great time to make a picture greeting card using LifeShare's new Halloween kit. Capture your little ones dressed up for trick-or-treating with your camera and then make a greeting card to share with your loved ones. In my case though, my kids are too big to go trick-or-treating so I decided to go through my archives of photos and found some oldies but goodies to use. Either way, you are going to love what you can do with the LifeShare Halloween kit. 

For those of you who are not familiar with LifeShare, the new kit has tons of backgrounds and embellishments to create your cards. It is a lot like scrap booking minus the mess and it's all done online. In the past I used the easy LifeShare templates or a freebie I downloaded online because I was always a little scared to use my own creativity (or lack thereof). I have never scrapbooked a day in my life but I was pleasantly surprised that creating these greeting cards came to me pretty natural. However, I must give credit to LifeShare because everything is coordinated so even a novice like me can't fail. It is so great to free my photos from the dungeon of a photo box and turn them into a greeting card that can be seen and shared. It almost makes me cry (for those that know me surprise, surprise) to see my children grow up and I wonder how it happened so quickly. Hello Everyone,


Fall is upon us and I have been busy enjoying the nice weather and all the beauty outdoors. My camera is busy capturing the leaves changing and the pumpkin picking! On those days that aren't so nice and I am stuck indoors, I have been busy creating picture greeting cards using LifeShare. I have to be honest with you, before LifeShare I didn't think I had a creative bone in my body. I don't know if it's because LifeShare makes it so easy to create a picture greeting card or if I have found a hidden talent.


I have also re found that connection that can get lost in technology. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy that I can connect to friends and family through Facebook and email. However, sending a picture greeting card is a lot more personal than posting on their wall or emailing a greeting card that will later be deleted. I may be aging myself here but before email I remember always wanting to get to the mailbox first to see if there was something in it for me. This was especially true for birthdays lol. Even today I tuck the bills under my arm and open a card first with excited anticipation!

In these tough economic times it has also been nice to save some money. I no longer have to go to the store and browse the generic cards and pay $2-$5 for a card that gets thrown in the trash. Instead I get to sit in the comfort of my home on my computer and in a matter of minutes I can upload a photo, add my personalized text, and it is printed and mailed within 24 hours. Even creating our largest card at 2 credits (which is equal to $1.60), I am saving both time and money. The reception of these greeting cards and their reaction has been priceless!
